A brief history of Windemere Homes

Windemere Homes is a family owned and operated business located in North Port, Florida. We have been building affordable single family homes in the Sarasota and Venice area, since 1985. Dom Sr. is the President of Windemere Homes and has two sons Dom Jr. and Michael. They have more than 40 years of experience in the construction of new homes.

Windemere Homes has built more than 2000 homes in Sarasota since 1985. Experienced in all aspects of residential and commercial development, including but not limited to acquiring raw acreage, land building, subdivision, plat layout, site infrastructure development, home designs, sales, and financing. We personally supervise the construction of each and every home. We're always around when needed!

The Windemere Homes “Builders One-Year Warranty’, in consort with the Buyers basic upkeep and maintenance, is meant to stand behind this home and give our Buyer’s added confidence that the major elements of the structure and finishes will remain functional and durable as the Builder intended and as our customer would expect after the intensive inspection process by City, County and State agencies which lead to a Certificate of Occupancy.

Windemere Homes builds a home that lasts long into the future with few or no problems even into the second year. We back what we build. Windemere Homes, Inc. offers what we call our “One-Year Fit And-Finish Warranty”. This is in addition to the “10 Year Bonder Builder Structural Warranty” that we offer to all our customers.
